SUNDAY MORNING FOR ADULTS

Classes begin September 11

Classes meet  Sunday morning at 9:45 am.- 10:30 am. Jerome offers several adult classes for your convenience and enjoyment. Each adult class offers Biblically-based discussion and fellowship for those seeking to strengthen their faith. All adults are welcome and invited to attend anytime!

NEW - The Pastor’s Class

This class is for attendees of either first or second service who want to discuss and delve deeper into the biblical text used in the Sunday sermon. Led by Rev. David Cady, with occasional appearances by other pastoral staff.

 Adult Discussion Class  

First discussion will begin with the book King's Cross by Timothy Keller. Lead by Chip Seeley and Mary Jo Edwards.                                           

Adult Bible Class

 This class enjoys reading and discussing the Bible together. The readings are 20-30 minutes per week and the discussion is free- ranging and lively. The class is appropriate for all participants, from the complete beginner to the serious student of Scripture Lead by Dr. Robert Guthrie.

 The Lounge   

This class is designed for parents and we will center our studies to focus how we raise our children.  Lead by Amy & Aaron Plank

NEW!   Tuesday Night Fellowship (& Book Study)

Tuesday, Sept 20 – 9 weeks from 7 pm – 8:30 pm Twelve Ordinary Men by John MacArthur.  This book study will bring you face to face with the disciples.  Led by Pastor Roger Gorden

 

NEW!  Improving Communication in Marriage

Monday, Sept 19 – 6 weeks from 7 pm – 8:00 pm Using the Love Talk DVD, taught by experts Les and Leslie Parrott to help you improve the single most important factor for a Successful marriage – communication! Led by Valerie and David Altfater

Men’s Ministries

The Band of Brothers Bible study begins Sept 17 from  9 am-10:30am.  All men are welcome.  Each meeting contains a standalone topic so come as often as you wish.  If you have questions call Bill Bryan at 793-0311.  Reach out on Saturday Morning community service projects (led by Dax Pitts) are ongoing thru the year.

Serendipity  

Women’s Christian fellowship &  Bible study – two groups

Daytime – Wednesday mornings from 9:45 am -11:30 am –led by Denise Gorden
Nighttime – Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm – 8:45 pm –led by Anita Norris

Men’s Breakfast

Join the men of Jerome the first Saturday of every month at 7:30 a.m. at the Der Dutchman Restaurant in Plain City for prayer, breakfast, fellowship, and great conversation. Ladies, you’re invited too! Call Jon Kundtz (889-9317) for more information.

Euchre Party

On the second Friday of each month (September – May) a euchre party is held at 7:00 p.m. at the church. You may sign up on the bulletin board in the lobby to play. Everyone brings an appetizer or dessert to share. For more information, please call Marie Faulk, 614-873-8239.
