VBS is held in
the evening for a week in August. It is a great time of laughter and community
where children and adults grow in their walk with Christ. Kids preschool
through 5th grade participate in music, crafts, games, snacks, stories, and
recreation and you never know what you will find in the lobby of the church –
maybe goats and crowing roosters! Children’s Library AdditionWe have purchased a set of books called, The New Learning About Sex, A Series for the Christian Family. We have the first 3 in the series that can be signed out by contacting Donna Montgomery. The 3 books that we have are: Why Boys & Girls Are Different by Carol Greene for ages 3 – 5, Where Do Babies Come From? by Ruth Hummel for ages 6 – 8, and How You Are Changing by Jane Graver for ages 8 – 11. Many parents have talked about the difficulties they have had in approaching this topic and we hope this will give some aid and help include a Christian perspective that they won’t get from school. | |||||||||
