Rev.
David Cady
David Cady is the
lead pastor at Jerome Church. After coming to a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ when he was eight years old and
growing in his faith through the ministries of his home church,
David began to respond to a call to pastoral ministry in his mid
twenties. His passion and gifts for Christian ministry, which
primarily include preaching and leadership, are rooted in a
strong desire to introduce as many people to Jesus as possible.
David believes in the historic Christian faith and is especially
grateful for the Wesleyan understanding of God’s grace and the
call for personal and social holiness.
David is an
ordained Elder within the United Methodist Church (UMC) and
holds a Doctorate of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary.
He comes to Jerome with over 15 years of pastoral experience in
the West Ohio Conference, serving churches in Circleville,
Summit Station, and Reynoldsburg.
Originally from
southeastern Ohio, David now lives in Powell with his wife Amy
and their children Bethany, Luke, and Clay. |

SENIOR PASTOR: Rev.
David Cady
IN NEED OF PASTORAL CARE?
As you know, Jerome Church
has a very capable and caring team of people on staff and we
want to be present with you as you walk through significant
times in your life. If you or a family member experiences a time
of crisis that requires pastoral care, please do not hesitate to
contact us. We are more than honored to be able to pray with and
for you, visit you in the hospital, and help you in whatever way
we can.
Of course, communication
becomes an important part of our ability to serve you and your
family in times of crisis. When a pastoral care need arises,
please contact the church office at 614-873-8851 during office
hours to let us know when and where we might be needed. Messages
left after office hours may not get checked until the following
day, so, in case of an emergency, you may also want to contact
Pastor Dave on his cell phone at 740-964-4575. When it comes to
hospital visits and crises that require pastoral care, our motto
is “if we know, we go.”
You can help us serve you
better by simply informing us of upcoming surgeries, hospital
stays, and emergency situations that require pastoral care.
