SERVE & GROW

The people of Jerome Church are in the business of changing the world, and we believe that happens by connecting with each other and our community, and serving together.

Volunteer at the BIA Parade of Homes
Support Youth Missions at Jerome Church

The 2018 BIA Parade of Homes will take place in Eversole Run in Jerome Village September 1-16. Jerome Church will provide 12 volunteers for the 7 weekend days (including labor day) of the BIA Parade of Homes (September 1-16), and each volunteer hour worked will earn a $20 donation toward youth missions at Jerome Church.

Volunteers will be assigned to roles including golf cart shuttle driving, monitoring entrances and exits, handing out brochures and possibly other roles such as clean-up as needed. Anyone age 15 and older can sign up below to fill a spot. Younger students can serve alongside a parent/guardian, but not fill a spot by themselves. Volunteers will receive a day pass for free parking and entrance into the Parade before or after their shift. We are excited about this partnership opportunity with the BIA, and encourage you to sign up for a shift through the link below!

What Makes You Happy
All Church Small Group Study

Everybody is on a happiness quest. For many, happiness is measured in moments. Experiences. It’s elusive. Unsustainable. But not the real stuff – not lasting happiness.

The path to true happiness is simple to understand but challenging to follow. It requires living with intentionality. It demands letting go of assumptions. It means looking through new lenses. Our hope is that you will gather some friends and dive deep to flush out the truths we can apply to our lives.

Never been in a small group? Now is the perfect time to give it a try. Join a group that is currently forming or start one yourself and prepare to gather and move in the same direction for 7 weeks. Cost of the book is $12 each (every participant should have a book). We have weekend, weeknight and daytime groups; couples, co-ed, singles, men, and women. Some groups have childcare available.

Sign up online through the link below, or in the lobby beginning this Sunday. Contact Pastor Donna with more questions.
